Proudly a Pinoy Blog

Update: I have recently updated my PaPB aka Proudly a Pinoy Blog badge/icon/button or whatever you wish to call it. I felt that the previous button was a bit outdated already and felt like creating a new one that fitted my mood. I definitely like how it turned out and I hope those who see it would like it too.

I guess it’s already obvious by the flag in the badge what nationality the author of this blog belongs to. I put this badge in my blog because for one, I take pride in being a Filipino. True, our country is in turmoil, constantly disturbed by events which put us in a bad light. But I’d like to believe that there’s something this country has that it can be proud of and should further manifest: its potential to excel. I see so many blogs written by Filipinos in the blogosphere and their content are moving, influencing, and putting our country up on the stage to display the good that we’re really capable of doing.

You will find those who have added the badge on my sidebar/blogroll.

If you are a Filipino and you take pride in being one, you own a blog and you’d like people to take note of the content that you put up in your site, please feel free to join this ring of pinoy bloggers. Feel free to copy the badge you see on the sidebar of this blog or posted in this page and upload it in your image host. Then enter the following code onto your sidebar or wherever you wish to put up this badge:

The following code shows what should be inside the reference and image tags:

<a href=”http://winterheim.wordpress.com/proudly-a-pinoy-blog/” title=”Proudly a Pinoy Blog”><img src=”insert image url here“></a>

I personally like the the back-end of WordPress better than Blogspot. Although Blogspot allows you to post ads and modify scripts more freely compared to WordPress.

Those pork belly photos got me starved. I checked your site and I don't see a sidebar where you can put the badge. ^_^
