Probably the cutest iteration of Miku Hatsune to date, in Nendoroid form, Miku Hatsune HMO version is definitely going to be one of my favorite Nendoroid releases, if only for the fact that there’s so much that you get inside the package. Not only do you get your standard Nendoroid, but this is a Nendoroid that’s fully posable (like Nendoroid Saber). There’s also so much detail on her like the cables that stick out of her headset. Plus she comes with a lot of items: two keyboards, an entire drum set, etc.

These images are courtesy of Mikatan from her newly migrated English WordPress blog. Continue Reading

DISCLAIMER: All the text below, as outrageous as it may sound, was from a testimonial from the author while he was writing this at gunpoint.
My gorgeous, hot momma of a cousin, Ethel (I mean, seriously, look at her) has been documenting hilarious conversations and incidents between her and her two little angels: her daughters.

These small snippets of their day-to-day lives were originally just small Facebook posts that she put up on her wall but this month, she decided to finally document everything in a blog.
So my gorgeous, hot momma of a cousin, Ethel (see what I’m doing here?) put up The Bading Mother Diaries. Don’t ask me why she calls herself that. I will NOT explain. What I WILL say is that this an absolutely hilarious read. I’ve always enjoyed reading these small accounts when she was still posting them in Facebook but with my work schedule and being away from my personal laptop for most of the day/week/month, I missed out on a good number of these posts. Now I am able to read everything my gorgeous, hot momma of a cousing, Ethel has documented in a single site that anyone can just visit on a regular basis if they wanted a good laugh after a bad day.

It’s definitely something worth reading, especially for all you mums out there.
These kids are sharp and smart at such a young age. I’m not sure if that’s an entirely good thing because I definitely would not be tag-teamed by my two nieces once they hit their tweens knowing how sharp their tongues already are at this age. So I’m hoping I can still take advantage of the element of fear or that they get oodles of gaming freebies and tech support from their uncle.
So do yourself a favor, treat yourself to a laugh and visit my gorgeous, hot momma of a cousin’s brand new blog.
P.S. I insisted that I would put up a picture of Angelina Jolie with her face superimposed on it but she would have none of it. Mas hot daw siya kesa kay Angelina. The conversation ended there. I pick my battles.

I’m not sure if it is already completely finished but one thing’s for sure: Keita does it again! This is an awesome replica of the 1/1 scale Gundam that you can find in Japan.
Not sure if Keita’s going to auction this one off but it would definitely be nice to own it if I could afford it.

Mouse over the image and post comments. Tell me what you think of this particular mod. And if you do know of any other modeller who you think did a better job than Keita, please feel free to post the link here so that I can have a look and feature that individual’s work as well!

I’ve talked about Hyakka Ryouran figures in the recent past and now there’s another one coming out and I think even if this one’s a mail order exclusive, it’s actually a worthwhile exclusive to get. As gorgeous as Yagyu Jubei is, this baby’s got a juicier rack and more beautiful legs. The character I’m talking about is the silent companion of Yukimura Sanada: Goto Matabei. She’s all meek but still all woman.

This woman has no idea how much skin she’s showing. But the sculpt for this figurine is just so gorgeous that it’s difficult to let this one pass. The figurine is a mail order exclusive so if you want to own this figurine, you would need to contact your third party buyers to get this gorgeous piece for you.

I’ve always been a fan of Super Robot Wars, a big fan of Original Generations mobile suit/personal trooper designs and even a bigger fan of Hajime Katoki’s work for this video game. So seeing Bandai release a SRW Original Personal Trooper is quite a happy surprise for me especially this particular design.
Now I won’t deny the fact that I haven’t been up to date with what’s been going on in the Original Generations Universe these past couple of years but I am still familiar the Personal Troopers and their design history.
This one in particular is supposed to be coming after the Huckebein Mk. III which was one of my favorites especially because of the Armored Modules that could be equipped to the Huckie MkIII.

I have never watched the original series of Kamen Rider Kuuga. Whatever exposure I had with Kuuga was through the Kamen Rider Decade series. It didn’t help that the earlier SIC releases of Kamen Rider Kuuga were the skinny and gaunt reimaginations of this Kamen Rider. So when I saw SIC’s Decade version of this action figure, I wanted to get one right away.
Now, the preorders are open, particularly in Amiami.com where I got the images for this.
The upside to it is that this SIC release also has interchangeable parts and you’ll see them later.

When I first saw the Yagyu Jyubei figurine by Alter for the Hyakka Ryoran series, I had told myself that I would get that figurine above anything else. But I guess over the timespan between then and now, other things got me preoccupied as well as my wallet. But my liking for the sculpt of the figurine has not diminished.
Back then, I have not yet been able to watch the series so I was liking it more for the lineart that came with the announcement of the figurine as well as sculpt of the figurine itself. But after watching some episodes from the series, I am definitely planning out how to get all three figurines (I said three because the fourth one is a mail-order exclusive plus the character’s too young for my taste).
There are three Hyakka Ryoran figurines that I would love to own which were all made by Alter. The first one is of course Yagyu Jubei.

The sculpt and color of this figurine just looks so topnotch and I think a lot of those who have already acquired this figurine attest to the quality that Alter put into making this figurine. I am absolutely loving the thighs on this sculpt as attested by another figurine acquisition I had made recently. The ropes are a nice touch and I am definitely loving this particularl figurine. I think this is the next one I’ll get once my P.O.P. Boa Hancock arrives.

FINALLY! I saw this come up for preorder at a local store (Wasabi Toys) and I was initially worried that this might not be for real since I didn’t see anything coming up in Amiami.com. But when I Googled this SIC, so many results turned up that this was actually a legit release, much to my joy, of course! Continue Reading

I usually don’t pick up figurines like these but this one has a nice face and appears to have a nice sculpt as well. Let alone the fact that the legs look nice also.

This is Okami Ryoko from Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi. Basically she’s the leader of the group called the Otogi Bank. Haven’t really seen the actual show but this figurine has gotten me interested in the series (EDIT: I picked up the 12-ep series from Coffeebugg).

This is one of Goodsmile Company’s more recent master models of their upcoming Nendoroid releases: Kirino Kousaka from Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. I honestly haven’t seen the show or even read the manga but the expression on her face is just priceless. So priceless that I’m considering picking her up from a shelf (cutting back on pre-orders).
