…and they’ll be two action figures in a single box!

I had already pre-ordered SIC Kamen Rider W and had already speculated that Bandai would most likely release the other forms in separate action figures as well instead of just armor replacement pieces.

You can just imagine my glee when I visited Amiami.com and saw this up for pre-order.

From the image, it appears that this will be a single box but with two action figures: something that Bandai has done in the past (i.e. Kamen Rider Den-O Axe Form and Rod Form). Thankfully, this isn’t an exclusive like the Axe Form/Rod Form release.

I just wish they’d release the HardBoilder. Now just toss in Kamen Rider Skull and I’ll be a happy man.

Accel I can live without but if they release Accel’s blue form, then I might have second thoughts.

Release date posted in Amiami.com is late June 2011.

FINALLY! I saw this come up for preorder at a local store (Wasabi Toys) and I was initially worried that this might not be for real since I didn’t see anything coming up in Amiami.com. Really. I wouldn’t. When this figma showed up on the preorders, everyone was complaining that it was so bloody expensive when prior to the price tag announcement, everyone was saying “OMFG, I will definitely get this figma! FINALLY! This figma has always been in my wishlist!” figma KOS MOS was never on my wishlist. The figma design I was wishing for was the seifuku version of figma BRS with a traditional katana in black. But everyone else said “meh, too many seifuku figmas. We’d rather see KOS MOS.”

So finally, KOS MOS shows up and all you’re going to complain about is the fucking price?! The damn thing costs around the same price as a regular Nendoroid for fuck’s sake.

Anyways, I am not passing up on figma KOS MOS. She will be standing right beside my gorgeous figma Cute once I get her. I’ve never been a fan of the games where KOS MOS appeared. Probably the only game I played that had KOS MOS in it was that SRW rpg with all the bouncing boobies you can find~! Continue Reading

Up close, that Stronger head design is starting to grow on me plus that whole light effect for the eyes and the chest for his Charge Up mode is pretty neat. Bandai had already released Kamen Rider Kuuga before but I wasnt too fond of how it looked since it was bordering along the “Another” styling of SIC action figures where it was very skinny and organic-looking. But it looks like Bandai is enjoying the success of their Kamen Rider Kabuto release with Decade Final Form Ride parts so now they’re releasing SIC Kamen Rider Kuuga Decade Edition with Kuuga Final Form Ride parts.

I’m actually liking the look and size of this one. The proportions are better on this one I think since as I said earlier, I found for earlier release of Kamen Rider Kuuga to be too skinny for my taste. This one looks like it can really support you in a brawl. He is definitely bulkier than the previous form. Continue Reading

I’m still following Kamen Rider W although I’m several episodes behind due to internet service issues at home as well as finding time to actually download the episodes. Nevertheless, I still am a big fan of this particular KR series and am looking forward to Bandai releasing Kamen Rider W SIC action figures. I know they are already rolling out more proto’s of the other Kamen Rider W forms in Bandai’s MG Figurise line but I don’t really give a crap about that one. I prefer the SIC action figure line!

When I saw this at Amiami.com, I was (and still am) quite tempted to buy/preorder this model kit. It is from the Frame Arms line of Kotobukiya model kits.

Three things made me want this kit. One was that I have a thing for boxy, muscular type mechs. Thus my love for Katoki’s designs and my preference for Northern units in Heavy Gear. Two was that it’s white!

That looks really nice. Just the right amount of bulk without making it look too cheesy. Neither does it show too much armaments with its current bulk which makes it unreal for this to handle that amount of firepower. The tank treads at the bank allow support for the recoil of the cannon mounted on its shoulders. Realistic, right? Continue Reading

Found time to bring my DSLR to work and take shots of my two newest SICs. I’m actually quite fond of Gatack so that’s probably why I have more shots of him here. But then, Dark Kabuto is pretty much exactly like Kabuto in form and only differs in color, plus he’s…well…dark, so he’s kind of hard to shoot on my desk. But the LED lamps helped create a really nice lighting effect.

What I really love about SICs is that with the proper lighting and poses, they look…real.

At least that’s how I see it. You be the judge.

Picked up my second SIC acquisition at Wasabi Toys this past weekend. My first SIC was Kamen Rider Kabuto which I believed was one of the best Kamen Rider designs ever made. When Bandai announced that they were releasing Kamen Rider Gatack as an SIC, I was ecstatic. When they added the fact that Dark Kabuto is included in the package, I was all the more excited to get it! My mind was reeling when they announced that the Cast-On armor was also included as well as interchangeable parts for a ZECT Trooper. It was Christmas in summer! Continue Reading
