Alter Chouko Sennin Haruka: Sennin Narika

Sennin Narika

UPDATE: Click on this link to view more pictures of Sennin Narika courtesy of Hobby Stock blog.

This is quite a mecha musume fix for me and it’s definitely in my wishlist. It’s a mechafied version of Sennin Narika from Chouko Sennin Haruka and it’s something Coffeebugg and I are already considering for pre-order. We’re waiting for it to show up in Play-Asia. This 1/8 PVC figurine is done by Alter and appears to clock in at around 8,000+ yen. Definitely a worthy purchase. The one that wins me over are the mecha details and the cute and very revealing pantsu. The detail on the figurine looks awesome but of course, it may vary once it comes out in production.

So are you willing to dole out cash for this one? Alter’s been releasing quite a number of winners lately and this one doesn’t fall short from the pack of top quality figurines. Click on the image to see the rest of the gallery at Amiami.com. ^_^

Desk Shot

Posted on 20 February 2009 by Mark

Nope, this isn’t a screenie. This is the real deal. Here are some photos of what my office desk looks like, with all the toys that I’ve decided to bring to the office. Do note that this isn’t EVERYTHING! Prime’s missing and so is the EVA Type F. I don’t even have my model kits here. Nevertheless, this is quite a lot already and I think some of the directors from Germany were a bit surprised when they came looking for me the other day (I was in another room meeting up with my Europe team) and they saw nothing but dollies and robots on my desk. Heheh!

Yes, my walls are purple. :D

On my monitor, you can see my current desktop layout. Im quite happy with it so Ill probably stick to it for the next couple of months. ^_^

Mmmm, Sakurahime

Posted on 31 December 2008 by Mark

This one’s from Creator’s Labo. Doesn’t she just look absolutely delicious? If all wrestlers looked and dressed like her, I’d be watching wrestling all day. She is definitely drool-worthy and she can whoop your ass.

Mmmmm

Mmmmm

Nendoroid Kaito Update

Posted on 28 October 2008 by Mark

I was at Mikatan’s blog today and I also visited Goodsmile Company’s english site after quite some time today and the latest bit of news was related to the upcoming Vocaloid Nendoroid Kaito. I am getting a Nendoroid Yoko once it gets released through Play-Asia but I’m looking forward to this particular Nendoroid even more than Yoko.

In my previous entry, I mentioned that Kaito appears to only have two interchangeable faces (normal and happy face) but now, after visiting Mikatan’s blog, I found out that there’s a third face coming with Nendoroid Kaito and I would personally call this the singing out loud face or the brave screaming face. Check out the images from Mikatan:

Cocona Photos by Edjie

Edjie’s been getting into figure photography and I’ve started to showcase her pictures starting with the Shunya version of Rei Ayanami of Neon Genesis Evangelion. This time, it’s one of Shunya’s personal creations, Cocona. One thing I really like about the Cocona design and pretty much every other Shunya Yamashita work that has a melee weapon is the detail that is put into the design of the blade.

Well, because of all this figure shooting and the photography overdose that I’ve been getting from Edjie and Tricia in their DA accounts, I’m going to spend tomorrow shooting pictures of my newly acquired Revoltechs. And probably even some decent shots of my EVA Type F. The shots I’ve been posting in my blog were all taken with my W960i because I couldn’t bring in my DSLR (booo!). So tomorrow, I shall take lotsa pictures! Glee~!

Check out more of Edjie’s shots at her DA account. It’s one of them big links on my sidebar. And Tricia too. ^_^

More Kureha Pics

Posted on 18 June 2008 by Mark

I recently blogged about the latest Kureha figurine which was done by President Japan. I got more pics from Amiami.com and it makes me want to buy this figurine even more! I’m sure she would look absolutely gorgeous on my desk! To see is to believe. Here are the photos!

Absolutely gorgeous don’t you think? Would you want to buy this? I’m sure the final released product would not look as flawless as this but if it does, it would definitely be a worthy purchase for any figurine collector. Again, this figurine is done in PVC and is a 1/8 scale figurine. The manufacturers are President Japan.

New Kureha and Space Yoko~!

Posted on 16 June 2008 by Mark

Two figurines that caught my eye because of their sculp…and their cleavage. President Japan released a figurine of Kureha from Shining Tears X Wind. I liked it because of Kureha’s pose as well as those sleeves…and the cleavage.

Next up is Figure WAVE’s Yoko Space Type. Yoko is the rifle-toting chick with the bouncy pair and Kylie Minogue-ish shorts from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Here’s she’s shown sporting a space suit which could have been better if the white leggings weren’t there around the hips…but who am I to complain when those juicy bits make those stars look a lot bigger when she’s wearing them than when they’re just in her closet. *wipes blood from nose*

Both images were taken from Kid Nemo. Both figures are in 1/8 scale and done in PVC. Actual release dates from the company were not indicated in the site but Kureha will be available for ordering in Kid Nemo come October while Yoko will be out in Kid Nemo by November of this year.

Feena fam Earthlight by Max Factory

Posted on 09 April 2008 by Mark

Saw this really cute figurine in Amiami.com. Don’t know what series she’s from but if she’s from an eroge, then I wouldn’t be surprised.  Still don’t know what series she’s from. I’m loving the design on that blue sarong around her waist. She’s Feena Fam from the series Yoakemae yori Ruriiro na.

Another Blood

Posted on 19 March 2008 by Mark

This figure is from Kishin Hisho Demonbane. It’s that mecha with green energy hair, akimbo pistols and large knees. This one is supposed to be like the AI or activation loli for the red robot in that series. Al Azif is the AI for Demonbane. What I do like a lot about this figure is her…thighs. o_o Figure is made by Nitroplus and the images are from Amiami.com.

Mizuho Kazami Pink Dress Ver.

Posted on 14 March 2008 by Mark

This is probably one of my favorite pictures of Mizuho Kazami and one of the first ones I kept ever since I found out about this particular character from Onegai Sensei (Please! Teacher). Her large eyes and her pink hair, eyeglasses and sexy clothing have made her quite a popular character and also a figurine subject. Recently, a figurine based on the abovementioned image has been announced for release in PVC 1/7 scale. You’ll see more images at Amiami.com.

Should I buy it?
