I’ve talked about Hyakka Ryouran figures in the recent past and now there’s another one coming out and I think even if this one’s a mail order exclusive, it’s actually a worthwhile exclusive to get. As gorgeous as Yagyu Jubei is, this baby’s got a juicier rack and more beautiful legs. The character I’m talking about is the silent companion of Yukimura Sanada: Goto Matabei. She’s all meek but still all woman.

This woman has no idea how much skin she’s showing. But the sculpt for this figurine is just so gorgeous that it’s difficult to let this one pass. The figurine is a mail order exclusive so if you want to own this figurine, you would need to contact your third party buyers to get this gorgeous piece for you.

There aren’t a lot of high resolution images of this figurine out on the web, at least at first glance but this local supplier through which I might get this figurine has a good number of images including some full-body shots.

Anyways, this mail order exclusive is slated for release May of next year. For those  who are interested, Tokyo Hunter is accepting preorders till the 11th of January 2011.

For my local supplier, the deadline is January 5. I’ll spend next week contemplating on whether I will get this figurine or not. It can be a bit pricey. Local price is Php6++ and Tokyo Hunter’s price is nearly Php6++ as well if you convert the total yen cost to peso and I doubt that covers shipping.

I do have one gripe though. Matabei’s face on this one looks…too young. Her face in the anime is a lot more mature than Jubei’s or even Senhime’s. She doesn’t feel as tall and mature in this figurine as she does in the anime. Makes me somewhat wish they had based the facial sculpt on Kanou Unchou.
